Video Studio / Prompt-to-Manim animation

Explain it with motion. Keep the source.

Turn a lesson, equation, or systems sketch into an animated explainer. The agent writes a Manim scene, renders the video, and keeps the output in a gallery for review and revision.

MANIM / GENERATED EXPLAINERSample artifact
Sample: a code-generated sine-wave explainer. Manim produces scene source and rendered video; Three.js uses a separate plugin workflow.
01 / WHY Video Studio

A clearer way to do the work.

01

Make technical ideas visible

Animate graphs, equations, diagrams, and process flows with precise scene geometry.

02

Revise through conversation

Ask for clearer labels, slower pacing, or a new scene structure and regenerate from source.

03

Review the actual artifact

Watch the output, inspect the source, and keep generated renders organized in the workspace.

02 / WHAT'S INCLUDED

Inside Video Studio.

Prompt-to-scene

Translate a brief and references into a Manim CE Python scene.

Structured animation

Build coordinate systems, equations, labels, transformations, and camera timing.

Background rendering

Run scene renders as background jobs and track their results.

Render review

The reviewer can inspect output or failure logs, repair scene code, and request another render.

Asset gallery

Browse generated media in the workspace and keep each render associated with its source.

Local alternative

Install manim-studio through Code CLI when you want to run the workflow on your own machine.

03 / GETTING STARTED

From here to your first result.

  1. 01

    Open your studio

Sign in and create or reopen the hosted Manim workspace.

    Continue
  2. 02

    Describe the explainer

Include the concept, audience, approximate duration, and any visual references.

  3. 03

    Render and review

Watch the generated MP4, refine the scene, and inspect the final output.

Before you start

This is a Manim animation workflow, not a general-purpose photorealistic video generator. Local installation requires Manim and ffmpeg. Generated code and outputs still need human review.

04 / GOOD TO KNOW

A few practical answers.

What can I make?

Mathematical explainers, technical diagrams, process animations, and other visuals that can be expressed as Manim scenes.

Can I run it locally?

Yes. Install the manim-studio plugin through Bahulam Code, satisfy the Python/Manim and ffmpeg prerequisites, and open the plugin workspace.

What happens if a render fails?

The workflow exposes job failures and logs for the agent to inspect. The render-reviewer can revise a failed scene and render again; successful output is not guaranteed for every prompt.
